The Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors is very aware of the current conditions locally, statewide and nationally brought on by the threat of the coronavirus, and we continue to monitor the situation. Because of this situation, we have begun immediately to limit office operations to essential staff only and will not receive visitors other than normal mail delivery.
For now, we continue to process applications as information is received and will endeavor to carry on with normal business operations as much as possible.
The Board encourages examinees to continue to watch information presented by NCEES and Pearson Vue concerning canceled, pending or postponed exam test dates.
The Board is also evaluating upcoming board meeting dates and will keep the general public aware of changes to scheduled meetings as quickly as possible. To that end, we encourage both examinees and licensed professionals to visit our website at www.pepls.ms.gov as well as to follow the agency on twitter at @PeplsM for updates and other information shared by the agency.
We encourage everyone to remain diligent during this unsettling time and to follow recommendations from the Centers of Disease Control and local, state and national governments regarding safety precautions to stem the spread of the virus.
