Congratulations to Mississippi licensed Professional Engineer, Sarah (Smith) McEwen, CFM, M. ASCE for being awarded the American Society of Civil Engineers 2020 William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award! Sarah is recognized for her commitment to saving the Mississippi River Basin Model and for initiating and enlisting help to clean up the Model to use it as a tool to inspire excitement in children for civil engineering.
Sarah is a Civil Engineering graduate of Mississippi State University and currently serves as a water resources manager at AECOM in Jackson, Mississippi.
